THAT is why Badenoch’s MPs who do have principles — who, unlike the globalist Tory Party, are loyal to truth and liberty — are leaving the Tories: blind allegiance to Kemi would be knowing treason to the country.

Kemi’s very office is a symptom of the Tories’ accelerating decline.

Yet, even in the desperation of the past year’s polls, her attempts to plug the holes in her sinking ship still exude her signature complacency through her pious yet illogical media-speak clichés: a hangover from peak-Blair, when rhetoric lived by its touchy-feely trendiness, and not its reason.
